At the 139th CASSAR Board of Managers Meeting held in Petaluma California on November 7-8, 2014 following lengthy discussion of the liability insurance issues and in particular the legal liability risk that firing of black powder at CASSAR events poses for the members of the chapter Color Guards, the chapter officers, CASSAR officers, and the NSSAR officers and Trustees, the attached Resolution drafted by our CASSAR Chancellor, endorsed by the NSSAR Chancellor General, and was unanimously passed by the Board of Managers to take effect immediately.
